Overcome is a Christian hardcore band that has been around since the mid 90's. They released five albums, a split, and a compilation with Life Sentence, Tooth & Nail, and Facedown Records, then they took a break for around 10 years and got back together with Facedown Records to release another two records. 'The Call Of Wisdom' was the second track off Overcome's 'As The Curtains Fall' (1996).

Jordan Vauvert

Brilliant, magical. Vivid soundscapes and feelings. Perfection! But, I have to admit, listening and taking a christian metal album into my collection is not something that I would normally do. Nonetheless, the music won me over, so I ignored everything else. Within Thy Wounds crafted here a transcendental, emotional atmosphere. Nothing can beat this. Umbra Cornuta

Jordan Vauvert
